Hawaii earned a split of its two-game, 10-day road trip with a 42-30 win over New Mexico State today at Aggie Memorial Stadium.

Hawaii quarterback Greg Alexander completed 26 of 32 passes for 288 yards and two touchdowns to lead the Warriors to their highest point output of the season before a crowd of 10,861.

Running back Daniel Libre rushed for 88 yards and two touchdowns as Hawaii (5-5, 4-3 Western Athletic Conference) handed New Mexico State (3-6, 1-4) its fourth straight loss. Kealoha Pilares caught 10 passes for 90 yards and a score in his return from a foot injury.

LOGAN, Utah(AP) Diondre Borel threw for 223 yards and two touchdowns and ran for 113 yards to lead Utah State 30-14 over Hawaii Saturday.

Peter Caldwell also kicked three field goals for the Aggies (2-7, 2-3 Western Athletic Conference). The Warriors fell to 4-5 and 3-3 in the WAC.

Utah State led at halftime for the first time this season, 13-7, after a field goal attempt by Warrior kicker Dan Kelly was blocked.
